Few things in my life compare with standing behind my camera in the wild.  My goal as a nature photographer is to convey that experience to the viewer.  To that end, I believe the printed photograph best presents the photographers’ skill and craft, and their effort to display their camera work with artistic intent.  As a means of fully personalizing this process, and to the extent possible, I print my own photographs.
On the technical side, my images are produced on Epson printers featuring Ultra-Chrome pigment inks.  I prefer fine art matte photo papers, as I find this paper exceptional for my style of photographic reproduction, offering a subtle matte surface with just a hint of texture which I believe contributes a painterly effect to the finished photograph. Also, this combination of ink and paper is recognized for excellent archival properties and extensive viewing life. 
After resting my prints for 24 hours, insuring time for the ink to properly dry, they are mounted on rigid archival foam board. When on this surface, each print is coated with several layers of photo varnish, establishing protection from UV light and a scratch resistant veneer. I prefer the use of varnish for this purpose to eliminate the need for glass, as I believe this provides a much improved personal viewing experience by eliminating reflections and glare, common with glass applications in framing.
Each image includes a printed border, which gives the appearance of a finished print with matte surround.  Just add you own frame and you are ready to display the photograph.
Of course, I can also provide your prints on fine art paper with a lustre surface.  Acrylic or metal surface print orders are produced by professional specialty printing services, and are only available in sizes 16”X 24” or larger. These are drop-shipped directly to you from the printer service. Producing these luxurious Fine Art Prints present several options and further discussion is necessary when ordering.  This can be accomplished via email or telephone call (recommended).
Print Ordering When ready to order prints, simply contact me with the Gallery Collection name and photo number, and the size and surface you require.  I’ll reply with a small file of the choices you’ve made to insure selection of the proper photo, including the size and paper choices.  I require payment in full at the time of purchase.  
My prints are unconditionally "Satisfaction Guaranteed” to be free from defect to the original purchaser upon receipt.  In the event that a print arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging and the print to document any issues, and contact me via email with photos attached.
